ok guys got another dilemma aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!

i got a laptop and want to get an external dvd writer, is this a bad move, i dont really have much choice though do i??
i could wait a while till i invest in a computor and then get an internal dvd writer but i dont see what difference it makes, can someone explain???

whats the best dvdr disk to use for backups on ps2??
