I thought I did exactly what you told me to do, step by step..
First I installed the game multi-player.
installed expansion cd
Copied those files to the game directory
then it wouldn't let me apply the the 1.1 patch since it couldn't recognize my application version.
weirdness, any help appreciated

Are you using the legit version? Is the .EXE an ORIGINAL one?
