do u got 56k and windows xp if so talk to kafan u can send him a PM he will email u on how to set it up to network ur ps2 through ur pc heres how to set it up

post bye khafan

Hi,
here is the directions,

Plug the cable into PS2 network port and the other side of cable to PC Ethernet port.
first, if you use firewall, disable it before it give you headache, for disabling XP
firewall, right click on your dialup connection and choose properties and go to
advanced tab and disable the firewall.

now go to start->all programs->accessories->Communications and choose "Network Setup
Wizard".
Click next two times and you'll be prompted about disconnected network
hardware(because PS2 lan device is off now), choose ignore and click next,
choose "this comp. connects directly to internet" and click next, now choose your
dialup connection and click next, now if you have more than one communication device
like firewire(1394), it will ask you for proper connection, choose "let me choose
the connections to my network" click next and choose the ethernet device, click
next,
enter a description and name for PC and click next, enter a name for workgroup and
click next two times, wait untill wizard fininsh, choose "just finish the wizard"
and click next and finish.

Put Sony network adaptor startup disk in PS2 and create a new connection, enter a
name for it and choose high speed connection, select automatic setting, choose "NO"
for username & Password, before choosing "NO" for DHCP host name, connect your PC to
internet and now select NO, it will test the connection and if everything goes fine,
you should see "you are connected for online gaming" message, save setting to memory
card.
If you have an online game, now you should be able to login to game server.
now turn on your firewall and see if your network still works or not.

Sometime when you resume your PC from standby or hibernate, network may not work
correctly, try relogin to server or restart the PC.
If you have more than one dialup connection, only the connection that you chose in
the wizard works in this network configuration.
