d a quick play with smartchip (supplied by hull chipper) performed well,only fault i found was the occasional red screen,1 in 20 maybe,was early smartchip no idea if code on them has changed now

chip manufacturing skills could do with improving,badly put together,but they work
long term ,how will they perform after a years usage,noone knows yet

your chioce save a £10 and take the smartchip,or pay extra £10 and take the m2

if u really skint take the smartchip
if u can afford it spend extra 10 take the m2
