Another way to say: cracking installations.
In the web page posted above we teach people to do that, but it is in spanish.
And it seems that you haven't got the idea: when cracking manually, installation checks fails and refuses to install updates. You need in this case the original one to match with espected.
If you crack the installation, then, crack verifies like original one and you can update without problems.
Obviously, every country and every version of teh same game have a different CRC check and there is no way to control it online, so must be more simple. Comparing with original installation is an easier way to verify if it is a crack or not.
By modifying installations, crack becomes "original", at least for that installation, and checks pass.
Quite simple, but not understood for many people.
