exactly, which is why most of the rpg's are from american companies. Too bad niether of them are the traditional rpg fight styles.
As n what you said about the xbox controller; would that make the psx one a cheap bloated mutations of the snes controller? Besides, the xbox s-controller is not cheap. I had if not too long after it was released and still nothing is wrong with it. I've had 2 psx/ps2 controllers break (as in button sticking or having to press down very VERY hard to use em) within the first 4 months. Same goes for my friends (not both though).
I still say xbox for multiplayer, ps2 for single player. Thats pretty much how it is at my home.

Carin'sboy, this is what I suggest you do. Scroll through a list of ps2 games and then a list of xbox games, after that, look at the future releases. Don't look at how many games there are, but rather look at which games you think or know are appealing to you. The size of the list does not matter much because you won't buy every game for the consoles (unless your filthy rich, in which case u should just buy both consoles).
Can a PS2 expert put some things down on what the ps2 can do after modding (other than play backups and imports, like emulators, vcd etc...). I haven't followed the PS2 scene much. The question was asked but it seems only the xbox part has been answered.
