This has happened not only with tony hawk 2, but with many games that I download. CRC errors pop up on many of them, and I realized it could be one of a few things.
1. use Win rar (sometimes I get CRC errors with winzip, or with powerarchiver)
2. Make sure all the files are complete.
3. One of the files is corrupted.
my tony hawk game had a CRC error, but rather than deleting it, I just simply used winrar and it worked and burned fine.
