Heya guys!
I downloaded the 1.21(Asia)patch for the game Restaurant Empire, since I have the Asian version.I needed a backup CD.I tried Alcohol 120%.No luck.
I learnt that it has Starforce 3 protection.Then I donloaded cdkiller's ProtectionID scanner.Cool!!!
It scans re.exe in the patch to be of.... hold your breath... Securom 4.84.81.005!!!
The Unsecurom program refuses any acknowledgement of Securom protection!?!?
The protect.dll, found in the Game folder file was scanned to have the Starforce, as mentioned by ProtectionID Scanner.(Hmmm...I wonder from where this file came??)
An interesting find....But I still don't have its working backup.(None of the fixes ever released work)
Any comments?
