I presume that you have either a CD writer and a DVD writer...
To back up a CD-Rom based game, use CloneCD. To backup a DVD-Rom based game use RecordNow Max.
If you have a CD writer and want to back up a DVD-Rom based game, post back and I/somebody else will explain this a little bit further
