this is what the DMS3 said about the color of the chip.


We have jointly decided to temporarily switch pcb colors to ease the great demand for more DMS3 mods into the market. Lately, have been running low on blue PCBs. We decided to manufacture green PCBs to avoid interruptions in the supply chain flow. The leadtime for green PCBs is much shorter and should allow us to work faster to ease the high demand for our product. After populating the green PCBs we should have sufficient blue PCBs in stock again. Please note you can differentiate between the green V1 and V2 mods by looking for the smaller sized flash chip on the pcb. We will inform as soon as we continue with using blue PCBs. If you should find a green DMS3v2.0 in your mail, shop or console that looks like the one below...don't worry, it's not a clone
