.pre ripping?
Ok, I'm a member of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater community, and recently, TH4PC had finally been announced, and a demo was made back in May or sometime around then. After thinking I got my broken PS2 I got free working, I purchased Tony Hawk 4 from a friend only to find out that my PS2 didn't work. I decided that I was tired of messing with my PS2 and was going to work on getting a working copy of Tony Hawk 4 before it was sold on PC. I've used a program made by another THPS community member, sporadic, that rips apart the .hed and .wad files, giving me most of what's on the disk, including levels, scripts, textures, geometry files, and a lot of other useful files. The PC version is a direct Xbox port, which barely differs from the PS2 version, filesizes are minutely different aside from the geometry files and scripts, which are exactly the same size. The only problem is that the Xbox has the scripts for each level broken up into tiny script files, whereas the PS2 has them compressed into singular .pre files. Is there any program that can rip apart each .pre file into the smaller scripts, like in the Xbox version? I've tried to hex the crap out of it, but I just can't seem to do it. Any help is welcome.
