older Liteon drives do NOT offer pregap reading support. (On the other hand unlike the Liteys, even recent Yamaha drives do not have 100% correct EFM encoding - you msut have used 'weak sector' enhancement with the F1).
So what wuz the Liteon you used, & what firmware?
