if this is how it acts after removing the chip...
- make sure there is no damage done to the ps2 on any of the connection points (or anywhere else for that matter)
- make sure there is no bridging on the bios chip, use desoldering braid to clean the chips legs
- if all looks good on the motherboard you might have blown a fuse. to fix this you just need to find the blown one and replace it. to find the blown fuse simply use a multimeter (set a 200 ohms). the reading you get should be between 0 and 0.3 ohms anything else is a blown fuse. a list of fuses can be found
