vice city was securom protected, so chances are you wont see any 'insert cd messages' etc that you are looking for, you picked a bad target.. also it has triggers, so i'd definately pick a different target if i were you, also there are cracks for vice city already which work fine and i'd learn some more about the protections before you teach your friend some more
and not all cracks can be patched with simple 90's either
