I'm going to change my Neo 2.2 within the next days and would like to know some things before I start:

>do I have to pay attention to anything in specific when removing the Neo 2.2, it should be installed with 8 cables, right?

>after installing the Magic 3.1, do I have to adjust anything with the laser? I'm asking 'cause when I came across a site that showed how to install a Neo 2.2, there was something about adjusting the laser, too?

>I have a detailed image of how to solder the Magic 3.1 points, but one of the 22 solder points is shown on the bottom site of the PS 2 mainboard, do I have to take a very long cable and solder that from the top side where the chip is located to the bottom side?

>is there a min/max length for the cables I use to solder the chip?

>do I have to fix the chip to somewhere after having it soldered in?

>is there anything else important I should know?
