Well its mostly game cds that have cd1 protected and other cds unprotected. Ie command and conquere Generals,splinter cell ect, As you most likely know only 1 disk is protected with above games (cant remember exactly which disk number now) but many other game cds aswell. I scan with clony and cd killers scanner which backs up the fact the disks i am having trouble with are unprotected (but i also checked this out here on the forums). I have no probs at all backing up the unprotected disks with nero. Clone reports its a 100% copy but as i said in last post the installation process with backed up unprotected disk normally fails?. I find it really weird that i havent YET come across a protected game disk i cant back up but have trouble with unprotected ones  .(when using clone) Awating your reply (or anyone elses) to this strange phenomonon (if i spelt that wrong then so be it).
