I have burnt hundreds of PSX games with my TEAC 55S.
Error recovery should always be set to abort.
Any errors mean the cd is not worth copying.
You will NOT copy Spyro 3 unless you have something like a Liteon burner, it is protected and NO patches work for it.
To see if games are protected or not visit

http://www.megagames.com/console/psx_patches.htm to see if any patches exist for the game.
If your Playstation is not a 9001 then it is possible the laser assy is worn causing it not to play copies.
