I have HUGE respect to anyone who can even think about modding a PS2 . It IS hard as hell and I wouldn't dream of doing it! By the way, my V4R laser is absolutely superb - not one problem, never skipped, never jumped or chopped at all - and it ain't never been cleaned (well, ONCE in two years)! I really am lucky.
