You have an A05 right? I don't know if an A05 will write Ritek Dyes at 2x as when they came out, the A04 wouldn't allow 2x writing. I don't think you can on an A05. That's what it is. If you had an A04, you could have flashed it with the 1.31 BIOS but as you don't, you may ruin your drive if you try. It looks like you're stuck! They aren't dodgy discs, it is simply the fact that the A05 has never let Riteks (You're datasafe disc manufacturers) go at 2x (and probably never will). Sorry about breaking that to you...
