I have seen USB NIC cards. They plug into a USB port on your PC making it a NIC. From there you can get a crossover cable and run that to your XBox.

B/c the USB-NIC is on the PC side, it will act as a notmal NIC and there for the XBox will think is just a normal network link.

You will however will be limited to 4m/s unless your are running USB2.0.
