- or + R RW

Charlie,

I agree, I dont use dvd-rw on ps2. I usually use dvd-r, and have no probs.

I use a dvd-rw for backing up certain data from my pc.

I discovered my error, I had selected a dvd+rw, which wouldnt run in either of my drives. On returning it to the shop, they swaped it for a dvd-rw, and all is fine.

Apparently the -rw or +rw is the format of your drive. I never new there was a difference. I'll assume one is for pc adaptations and the other is for set top players, .......... unless of course............ someone can advise otherwise........???????
