I assume you use the three programs in DVD Copy Plus? Instaed of the last program included in that guide download the free program "Virtual Dub". Go to file, Open, then select your movie. Got to video, compression, then select Divx codec, most settings should be OK just make sure the encoding rate is in the 800s. Then select audio, full proccessing mode. Then select audio again, compression, and select MPEG layer 3, then select a bitrate from the list to the right. Then File and save as .avi. That is what I do every time and I never had a problem.
