That is the bios chip and I don't know of any alternate solder points for the four wires that have to go on to the chip. But these are alot easier than the ones on the older versions where you have to solder opn to the CD\DVd controller. Hope you have the proper soldering iron. If you do these points shouldn't be that bad. Take your time to get the wire lined up just right and barely touch it. To much pressure could push solder solder to the side and casue a bridge, but this would be an extreme case as there is barely enough solder on the point to reach the next. Take your time and you'll be just fine. Best of luck to you.
