Well, you aren't likely to get the sort of responses here that you were hoping for.

Basically, 99.99% of non-solder mod chips are the equivalent of yanking your PS2's drive door open with a knife and swapping the discs.

AND they tend to be kinda pricey for what you get, since instead of a bare chip you gotta get some USB thinger which requires extra chips and whatnot.

And even the "no solder" chips require a single wire to be soldered, or else you can't get it to brake the disc properly.
