Do you know what you have you have your jumper set to? You set this by putting the little pin in the back of your drive. You can have it be slave or master. Try setting it to master if it isn't already. You might want to try installing
this firmware too. This is 1.9f. Are you sure your burner's region is set the same as the discs you are trying to burn? What version dvdxcopy you using?
