I think that there is an error in your image or is non selfboot disk so you need Utopia boot disk.
Oh yes I'm studing Dc world every second in these days.
But I had SAME PROBLEMMMMMMMMMMM......

from what i have read all pal dreamcast's seem compitable with the audio/data mode it seems as though they only altered the ntsc dreamcast's!!
