actually, if a console were to emulate the ps2, it would probably need at least 4 times wha tthe xbox has. I mean, the PC ps2 emulator that is being worked on only gets about 5fps with a pentium 4, 2ghz+. So it is highly unlikely that the xbox would even be able to emulat at 25% speed. For this and other major hardware differences, I don't think a ps2 emulator would ever be out.
