I'm very confused because the fresh unrarred/untouched CDI has 2 [PAL Protection 1] codes, but if I extract the 1st_read (or even if I scan the full CDI) I find exactly the strings that you are telling me to enter as replacement.
In other words on the clean unpatched CDI/1st_read I find

Should I perhaps invert the order you suggested me and replace 0A with 06 and 04 with 02?
