1 mb chips are interesting if you want to run linux on your xbox. usual xbox bioses like evox dun need a 1 mb chip. but with more extended bioses commin ahead (whatever they will be good for
a chip which is capable of 1 mb bioses might be interesting.
a usual chip is just fine for most ppl tho.
