You right, you can't on any chip. But, the x2 lite bios enable the xbox to boot to evoxdash.xbe when the chip is on, and when you turn it off it boots to the normal dash.
If you had the x-ecuter v1, you would have to keep switching between dashboards manually everytime you want to copy a game then later go on XBL. That can get annoying
