Just put the NoCD fix on it, it's available through GCW.
Then you can install the game and put the CD away for safe keeping. Or put a fixed .exe (also available from GCW) on it if you actually want to use the CD to play. (Why?)
Did you LOOK at the files on the disk? Usually it will have a folder on it called 'crack' or something similar already on it. Use that. Sometimes it will make it a NoCD'er, sometimes it just bypasses the CD's protection and you still need the disk to play. It depends on the person that "cracked" the game.
