@ Sombre. I to had some probs making a backup of mafia. @ 1st i used clone cd v4.1.0.1 and clonyXXL v2.006. I was able to copy all 3 disks perfectly according to clone and the log but every time i tried to install i got stuck on disk 2. I tried Alcohol but to no avail either. In the end i made a 1.1 backup (no need for nocd crack). How your probarly wondering and here it is. I used clonecd V4.1.0.1 and clonyXXL V2.0.0.6 like the 1st time and the only different thing i did (and i should of done this from the start i know,i kind of got stuck in a cycle
) was to scan each disk with ClonyXXL and not use the same profile for all 3 disks. In other words scan disk 1 with clonyXXL and burn with clonecd using the profile clonyXXL made, Scan disk2 with clonyXXL and burn with clonecd using the new profile clonyXXL made and then scan disk3 and burn again with clonecd. Also when i used clonyXXL V2.0.0.6 if i remember correctly the safe disk protection had been tweaked compared to lower versions. So my guess is the protection on all 3 disks is in some way different. (I cant remember what protection was on all 3 disks). Also if you want to read up on more stuff to do with backing up Mafia you could have a look @ the different threads including one i started wich also comes with a link to download the best version of clonyXXL V2.0.0.6 as there are more than one V2.0.0.6 of clonyXXL out there. You will see what i mean if you pay the thread a visit and when i tried to back Mafia up with the not so good clonyXXL V2.0.0.6 it diddnt work.
