I don't download games and I don't pirate. Basically all I want to do is make a backup that will allow me to install without having to have the originals. My friend burned it but those are my cd's that he burned.
We don't live close to each other so I won't be able to get them back for awhile. He was supposed to install from the burned cd's to see if they worked properly but he installed from the originals by mistake and we realized this as he was playing. Anyway, I didn't have time to stick around to test them at his house so I just took the copies for myself. I had to reinstall because I had uninstalled my game already.
I realize that this might be breaking your rules but I just want to know how I can get rid of this error. I really think that i can't install this game anymore even with my original cd's because it's showing that i still have it installed. I really messed up by deleting the folder but it was the only thing I could do because it wouldn't let me uninstall.
Thanks for the link but I had already done a search but I couldn't find the answer to my question, there's stuff about cracks in there. If you have any idea how I can fix this please let me know.
