Expensive....Maybe a little....We had Dish Network for a while and we were paying 78 bucks for the package , which included movie channels...HBO...etc.....AND I was paying 20.95 for my AOL....shudder the thought....
Now we have cable with the same channels, without HBO. But we get our local channels, which we did not get with Dish and I have cable modem... for $99 plus tax of course......My download rates are usually 70k-150k depending on who, what, where I download from. Usually on Kazaa, depending on the source I get around 50-80k, which when I had modem, I was getting around 1-3k......I don't think I could ever go back.....hehe....So for me, it was a no-brainer.....But my buddy, who is paying 29.95 for cable tv and 8 bucks for internet....It would be a HUGE jump......As with anything it will be cheaper faster better cooler,,,etc,,,etc in the end
