As a general rule of thumb......
V5 or higher PS2's will normally play the +R/+RW format with no problem.
V4 or lower PS2 will normally NOT play the +R/+RW format....
Like I said, this is a general rule..... There have been a few people with V4 or lower PS2's that have had success using the +R/+RW format, but its not very common.....
