Well, the software alone cannot guarantee a perfect safedisc 2 copy, you have to have a safedisc 2 compatible burner too. Go to
this page, pick the make of your writer in the left column and check out the models in the right. If you can't find your make there, try to discover what your drive uses internally (most manufacturers just put a new case around another firms' electronics). Your drive has to have two sheep to work with safedisc 2, anything else won't work well enough. If you don't have a safedisc 2 compatible burner (I don't), you can always make a hard disk image with CloneCD or Alcohol120%. This image can compressed with winrar and the .rar archive can be put on the cd. This will give you a backup, where you only have to use the intermediate step of installing Alcohol120%/Daemon Tools, extracting the image and mounting it. It's not as handy, but it'll work (I've done this to make a backup of my original bf1942 cd's).
