G'day WhatWhat,
If my memory serves me correctly Medieval Total War was 2 discs to install the game.
Why dont you simply use Clone CD, Blindwrite or Alcohol to create an image (from your original discs) & then burn them back to a CDR. You can install from those 2 backups & simply apply the crack you downloaded after install if you have not made a 1:1 copy
Or alternatively copy / paste the image of say CD1 to your harddrive & create a new folder called Crack in that directory / paste the crack / fix you downloaded & then burn the contents of the directory back to a CDR. You could use Nero to do this, however, remember to use the same name of the original disc as your copy which is probably something like Medieval CD1.
Burning back the game folder on your harddrive to 3 discs wouldn't be really sensible to do as their may be registry entries installed when you installed the game which you can not burn back to your CDR.
Entrusting of course you have the 2 original game discs to backup.....
