I had this error too. When i found & installed a Registry Patch named Battlenet enabler, i was able to join open Battlenet and i was able to create and login to closed battlenet accounts.
But after logging in or creating a new character there always came an error saying "REALM DOWN" or "Cannot connect to Server".
Does anyone know how to fix this !?!?
