Hi there,

I got a copy of Final Fantasy 8 which is scratched
(readable by CDBurners but does not run smoothly on PS2 as it used to be)

I tried to back it up with CloneCD4, Nero5.10.x.x, with patch (UK/PAL and Uni by Chen) and with out patch, and end up wasting 5 discs.

Those disc all had same problem, that is they never get thru to the "square soft" screen, the all black out after SCEE license screen.

Is there anyone know what I did wrong? or is it the patch not suitable for my FF8? or do I need Action Replay to load it?


by the way, my PS2 is chipped with NEO2.2

Please help out.
