No, without a valid CD key your client will not get WON authorization upon trying to join a game server. A no CD crack makes no difference. The only way to get a valid CD key is to buy an original copy of halflife. A fake or Key-gen created identification number will allow you to play only on LAN's but not on the internet. You could try the number that was on the HL cd that you copied, but because whoever you copied it off has the same numīber when he/she is playing any HL mod then you will not be able to log onto any servers.
