Rince, that's helpful to know, and is a rather important fact.
Why are they doing that? It would seem that clonecd should allow this feature in all their versions of product, but obviously they must be afraid of litigation from the big companies, even though here in the U.S. it is lawful to be able to make a back-up of your cd. Why clonyxxl's programmer(s) are doing this is really puzzling!
