dashupdate.xbe warning

On some of the latest games there is a file in the root diectory (where default.xbe is) called dashupdate.xbe - if you have a modded xbox then check the files on the root directory of the games as i read on xbox scene that this file can be a problem to some modded xboxes. It has something to do with xbox live. Apparently when you select to play online it updates the "xboxdash.xbe file . Most people use a straight evox bios which requires you to rename the evoxdash.xbe to xboxdash.xbe so that evolution-x dashboard boots instead of the original Microsoft (M$) dashboard. The trouble is when the game updates the xboxdash.xbe its actually altering the file that boots the evolution-x dashboard which means the xbox will no longer boot upp. The only way to get the xbox to boot up to the evolution-x dashboard after this happens is to boot from a CDRW/DVDRW with evolution-x on it and delete the altered xboxdash.xbe file and replace it with the evolution-x version as before.
To get around this problem:-
Use one of the evox ybox bios's and leave the original M$ xboxdash.xbe file as is and upload the evolution-x dashboard file and name it "yboxdash.xbe - That way no harm can be done by this update program cos evolution-x dashboard boots from yboxdash.xbe and not xboxdash.xbe
If you have a switch that turns the bios on/off then its better to use an evox ybox bios cos when you boot with the modchip turned off it boots like a normal xbox to the M$ dashboard, but if you turn the modchip on it boots to the evolution-x dashboard.
If you use a evox ybox bios you dont have to worry about the xboxdash.xbe file being updated cos, depending on your modchip, its either not used or only used when the modchip is turned off.
If you are making a copy of a game with this file in the root directory then i read that if you replace the dashupdate.xbe file with the evo-x dashboard file renamed to dashupdate.xbe then if the update tries to trigger then it just reboots the xbox to the evolution-x dashboard and not harm is done.
