I agree with BG. I was in the same situation as you are now. I had a v1 and wanted to get a mod. I sold my ps2 with 5 games I didn't play anymore for $285 on ebay. I got the $200 I needed for a new ps2 +$85 to go towards the chip and install. If you are unable to find an installer in Florida, send it to Bill at
