[Game copy newbie]

Can anyone advise of software that allows the editing of a Clone CD image? Specifically, I want to replace the original game.exe file with a no-cd.exe file before burning. Can it be done? I mount the image with Daemon Tools, but as Daemon is a ROM emulator, all the files are read-only. I'm sure there is software available, I just can't find it!
