If you are doing disc to disc, then you will need another DVD-ROM drive for DVD games and it will need to be fast enough. Try a copy on a RW disc and see if it works. If you are doing a CD on-the-fly copy, then you will have to put the CD in the DVD-RW and the blank in the CD-RW. Hope this helps. If you want to write without an image then that is what you will have to do, however, for the time it takes to do an image, you might as well make one and at least you'll know it will definately work...
