are all ps2 games protected?
ANSWER: No in the strict sense. http://www.ps2ownz.com has a database of games and their patches. The patch type indicates whether or not games are protected. "Protected" means the ability to detect a copy.

and wut do i set my CDr-win settings at so i can burn the game?
ANSWER: Use the defaults. RAW on reading is important but unimportant on writing.

I have a Mitshitsu or something it is a company owned by Panasonic i think 8x8x32..is it good for burning?
ANSWER: Matsushita is not one of my devices (I prefer Yamaha). CloneCD (the other important burner for PS2) does not list a Matsushita device as asupported. CDRWin only lists the very basic 7503 CD-R device (8 x 20). I think you have the DVD-ROM (8571-B) with CD-R burner. When you run CDRWin it'll tell you which devices it recognises.

How do i know if my burner is edie or what not how can i check?should i ask the guy who installed it?
ANSWER: If it's the Matsushita drive 8571-B then it's IDE. In Windows Device Manager look up the properties for the device. It will tell you all.

I got CDRWin 4.0 full version paid for and everthing and i got CLONECD 3.0.8.2 paid for and everthing now i am almost there to learning how to burn games yipee!!
ANSWER: See (3) above re compatibility. Try it - the software will report if the burner is recognised.

ok i live in northamerica i and i bought my ps2 from the local wal mart and all the blockbuster games i rented before all worked so i smy ps2 ntsc??cause i thought pal was 4 europe and stuff and i all the games i am gunna "buy" are also going to be from "wal-mart" here in canada so will all my games be ntsc?
ANSWER: Your PS2 is NTSC and the games are NTSC-U (coded for US/Canada).
