I just bought a new PS2 (PAL, version 7 -> SCPH-390004). I don't have a modchip for playing backups. I use the cog trick and this seems to work. Unfortunately I have an image (bin, cue) downloaded from Kalisto which I can't burn correctly. I tried cdrwin 5.0, nero 5.5, Fireburner 2.1.7. My cd burner is a Plextor PX-W2410A. I can burn the image, can browse through it in the windows explorer, but when booting up my PS2 with Action Replay 2.0 and doing the cog trick, it first loads the disc (disc spins and laser reads) for some seconds, but then the pink ps2 screen with "insert a proper ps2 cd or dvd format" appears.

The images seems to be in the format cd-xa, mode 2, block 2352 (raw). I tried to burn it with cd-xa, mode 2 and block 2352 with raw writing and with block 2336 but always the same. I was not able to burn in cdrwin using the cue sheet.
