It's only protected by a cd check. There's no 1.2 nocd out at this time, which gives you two possibilities. 1) Ask
cdkiller to make a nocd for you
or 2) Use Clonecd to make an image of the cd and mount that using daemon tools. Takes up 600-700Mb extra space but will always work.
