Well I don't think no one is emphasizing what's better over another rather Since the Sony drive is +R Media capable I guess why not get this one instead, it's built in after all..
Also Correct me if I'm wrong due to that being A05 retail is chepaer now over the Sony DRU500A unit..
I believe it's around $50.00 or so more cheaper over the Sony Burner..Not that it's lot but to some every $$$ adds up..
Me, Personally I'll get the Sony Drive If I known about the upgrade..
I probably get someone from my family to get 2 of this drives for me as a Christmas present and sell the A05 retail box..
