The last released crack for this game was on 7 march 2002, for v1.007, and I don't even know if that was a nocd crack. All patches since then were never cracked, so either you can hope and pray that someone, someday decides to crack the latest beta patch, OR you can try my method described above which will allow you to play without the cd and use ANY patch, as long as you make an image of the original cd.
